Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
We have always had a proportional tax system. We need to find a balance in the collection of tax as to not burden the average American.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
An even playing field needs to be created so the average American has the opportunity to serve our great nation and not have these offices be monopolized by individuals with deep financial backing.

In extreme circumstances, it must be understood the the ultimate penalty will be paid for the most horrific crimes.

Yes Do you support lowering taxes as a way of promoting growth in the economy?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
The job of government is to step in and stabilize our society and country during economic hardship. Once the economy rebounds, the government can pull back and create policies to encourage continued growth. This also means being watchful to assure that business trends serve the public interest and not allow another collapse.
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
Education policy needs to be place locally where it can directly respond to the needs of the community. The federal government just needs to make sure there is funding for a strong educational system in this country and support the ability to have affordable higher education for all.
No Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
No Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
The question about offshore energy production is vague. If it refers to offshore oil production, we need to be careful as to how we move forward. If it refers to wind farms, there is strong potential in this area in support of enhancing new energy technologies and migrating off the oil economy.
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Climate change is happening and very difficult to measure the impact human behavior has on it. However, if we establish policies that with support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions that produce a significant economic benefit, our society gains as a whole, cleaner air to breath, more cost effective energy production, and an improved economy. We focus on technology improvements to achieve both reduction in greenhouse emissions and economic benefit to our country.
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
We have and established second amendment for the right to bear arms. Unless it is repealed or amended, I stand by our constitution.
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
At this point, the Affordable Care Act offers our society some significant benefits. There are many Americans who now have healthcare. By repealing the act, would put those Americans at risk of not affording needed medical care. Close scrutiny needs to be made on the details of the act and amendment to the act can be instituted to improve its implementation and cost to our society.
No Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Depending on the circumstances, I am for returning illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin. People who break laws beyond the immigration laws, violent criminals, repeat offenders, etc. However, if an individual has established themselves as a productive member of our society of many years, we need to consider alternatives for them to become eligible for citizenship.

As an elected official to government office, I don't think it is right for government to be involved with personal life style choices.

No Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
We are a sovereign nation who is suppose to respect other sovereign nations. We need to build our own defenses and use diplomacy and create strong alliances. We can no longer continue to afford to be the world police force. A coalition force needs to be established for these issues in the future. However, we, as a nation, cannot be naive to potential threats. Therefore, we need to continue to maintain the finest military in the world.
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Those individuals who have the knowledge and ability to establish and maintain their own retirement account should be allowed to do so.

My highest priority when I take office it on expanding employment within New Jersey and across this country. I would do this with the continuation of publicly funded infrastructure programs. I would also establish policies for partnerships with universities and business to encourage the expansion technological research for energy independence. In alliance with this theme, I will focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) Education to train our youths the skills required for the expanding job market of tomorrow. This will build a strong foundation for the future of this country and its security.
